At CREC Museum Academy, learning comes to life! Our public magnet school serves students in PreK through grade 5 and focuses on museum studies to make education hands-on, creative, and exciting.
Instead of just reading about new ideas, students get to experience them. We partner with local museums to bring lessons to life through field trips/expeditions, classroom exhibits, and visits from museum experts. These real-world experiences help children make meaningful connections in subjects like math, reading, science, and social studies.
Our students learn to ask questions, think deeply, and express their creativity. They often get to show what they’ve learned by designing their own museum-style exhibits—an exciting way to share their knowledge and pride in their work.
