Where every child is a masterpiece

At CREC Museum Academy, we provide an engaging, museum-inspired education for prekindergarten to fifth-grade students. Our Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach focuses on the child’s holistic development and incorporates museum studies into the curriculum. Students demonstrate their learning through student-led exhibitions, where they present artifacts as docents. Our partnerships with museums offer students hands-on experiences beyond the classroom with experts facilitating learning. Our use of the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) improves students’ critical thinking skills and promotes inclusivity through guided discussion of visual images.
